Smarter AI Named by ABI Research in New Report

Updated on

Smarter AI, a leader in AI cameras and enablement software with precision AI for trusted data and decisions, has been recently named by global market advisory firm ABI Research in a report. According to the report, AI for ADAS, cabin monitoring, and DMS is powering “29% CAGR in video solution shipments by 2026, generating revenues exceeding US$8 billion.”

The report dives into the rising demand for AI video telematics and what the cause of it is, and it provides an in-depth application analysis report. The analysis report includes Smarter AI’s software-defined cameras, its various AI models and developers, and global deployments.

Recent Partnership Announcements

Smarter AI has also recently announced several partnerships with developers of AI models for commercial video telematics, including Brodmann17, Cochl, Edgetensor, General Magic, Irida Labs, Jungo Connectivity, and PathPartner.

Susan Beardslee is ABI Research’s Principal Analyst, Freight Transportation & Logistics.

“Regulatory measures are bringing more technology into fleets. The tremendous growth in e-commerce is also bolstering last-mile deliveries and associated drivers, many without previous commercial driving experience,” explains Beardslee. “All these factors are driving demand for dashcams, driver monitoring systems, external cameras, and ADAS solutions.”

Smarter AI’s Cameras and Deployments

Smarter AI’s software-defined cameras scale camera use cases by separating the video, AI, and application panels.  This is done because each camera use case requires unique AI models and programming. All of this enables users to program AI like apps on a phone, and Smarter AI software-defined cameras are supported by AI Store, which is the company’s expanding ecosystem of AI models and developers.

Chris Piche is Founder of Smarter AI.

“Together with our AI model partners, Smarter AI software-defined cameras enable precision AI for video telematics, including forward collision, lane departure, and pedestrian collision warnings,” said Piche. “Our platform can also monitor and improve cabin and driver safety, reduce insurance costs, and help resolve vehicle-involved incidents.”

Smarter AI’s Smarter AI Platform has powered new and legacy cameras like Smarter AI Cameras, Smarter AI Gateways, and other leading AI camera systems. With Smarter AI’s APIs, integration with legacy devices, sensors, and systems are enabled.

Smarter AI is being used by carriers, device makers, and service providers to deploy precision AI for trusted data and decisions. Millions of endpoints around the globe have deployed Smarter AI cameras, Smarter AI Gateways, and third-party cameras based on the Smarter AI Platforms.
