Published

 on

Credo AI has announced the availability of its Responsible AI platform, which is the first of its kind. The SaaS-product helps organizations leverage tools to standardize and scale their approach to Responsible AI.

Credo AI is responsible for creating the world’s first comprehensive and contextual governance solution for AI.

Responsible AI Platform

According to the company’s press release, “Credo AI’s Responsible AI platform helps companies operationalize Responsible AI by providing context-driven AI risk and compliance assessment wherever they are in their AI journey.”

This is crucial given how many AI companies have trouble coming up with and implementing necessary AI principles into practice.

With Credo AI, cross-functional teams can collaborate on Responsible AI requirements for things like fairness, performance, privacy, and security. The platform also enables teams to evaluate their AI use cases to make sure they meet the requirements through technical assessments of datasets and machine learning (ML) models. They can also take a deep look at the development processes.

The platform relies on Credo AI’s open source assessment framework to achieve more structured and interpretable assessments for all types of organizations.

Navrina Singh is founder and CEO of Credo AI.

“Credo AI aims to be a sherpa for enterprises in their Responsible AI initiatives to bring oversight and accountability to Artificial Intelligence, and define what good looks like for their AI framework,” Singh said. “We’ve pioneered a context-centric, comprehensive, and continuous solution to deliver Responsible AI. Enterprises must align on Responsible AI requirements across diverse stakeholders in technology and oversight functions, and take deliberate steps to demonstrate action on those goals and take responsibility for the outcomes.”

Platform Features

Some of the features of Credo AI’s Responsible AI Platform include:

  • Seamless assessment integrations

  • Multi-stakeholder alignment

  • Turntable risk-based oversight

  • Out-of-the-Box Regulatory readiness

  • Assurance and attestation

  • AI Vendor Risk Management

With features like AI Vendor Risk Management, organizations can use Credo AI to assess the AI risk and compliance of third party AI/ML products and models. Other features like tunable risk-based oversight allows teams to fine-tune the level of human-in-the-loop governance based on the use case risk level.

These new developments come as governments continue to increase AI regulations. For example, there are upcoming regulations like the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act (AIA), as well as a bill in New York City that makes it mandatory for AI employment decision tools to be audited for bias. These are just some of the many reasons why organizations are choosing to rely on AI governance tool’s like the new platform released by Credo AI.
