The round was led by General Catalyst and joined by prominent partners including Creative Artists Agency (CAA), CoreWeave, and Comcast Ventures. This brings the company’s total funding to $154 million—a major vote of confidence in Moonvalley’s mission to build generative AI tools that are both powerful and legally responsible.
At the center of Moonvalley’s platform is Marey, the world’s first production-grade AI video model designed specifically for professional use. Released to the public earlier this month, Marey is engineered for cinematic output, commercial readiness, and creative control—offering a transformative experience for filmmakers, studios, and brands.
Moonvalley has taken a bold position in the rapidly evolving world of generative media: all of its AI models are trained solely on licensed content.
