Step 1: Start Your Free Trial

I started by going to followr.ai and selecting “Start Your Free Trial” on the bottom left.

Step 2: Choose a Plan

Next, Followr had me choose my plan.

There were two categories: Social Media and AI Studio. Since I wanted to get the most AI features, I selected AI Studio. I could start a 3-day free trial on any of the plans.

Step 3: Insert Your Company Website

From there, Followr asked me what my company website was to extract the brand colors, description, and logo. I had the option to skip, but I added it anyway to simplify the process.

Step 4: Add Company Details

Next, I had to complete my company profile. Since I gave Followr my company website, it automatically extracted the company name and description.

Step 5: Define the Brand Voice

From there, I was asked to define my company’s brand voice, which included the following:

• Language
• Topics & Interests
• Target Audiences
• Communication Tones
• Language Styles

Once again, Followr automatically populated the empty fields, making the process easier. I could add or remove any of the suggestions, but I found them to be accurate.

Step 6: Set Your Brand Style

The final step was setting the brand style, which included adding a logo and brand colors. Once again, Followr automatically extracted the logo and brand colors for me, and I was able to finish the setup.

Step 7: Select the Viral Short Generator

From there, I was taken to my dashboard. All of my AI tools were easily accessible to generate images, videos, avatars, viral shorts, schedule content, and configure settings.

I was most interested in the AI Viral Shorts Generator, so I selected it on the bottom left.

Step 8: Generate Video Setup

Next, I was asked to describe my video idea.

There were some style guides below, but I chose to give it this prompt: “Top 5 productivity tips for remote workers” and hit “Generate Video Setup.” It cost 18 credits to generate.

Step 9: Edit the Scenes

Immediately, Followr got to work generating my video. It started by showing me each scene, where I could select the AI voice for narration, the scene image, and the script. The video preview was on the right.

Step 10: Edit the Subtitles

I kept everything as is and went to the next step on the bottom right, which was editing the subtitles.

When editing the subtitles, I chose the position, animation effect, font family, colors, and font size.

Step 11: Edit the Animations

The final step was editing the animations of the video.

I chose the scene animation type (zooms or pans) and scene transitions (enabled or disabled). From there, I generated my viral AI short video, which was 156 credits.

Step 12: Post or Download

Followr immediately got to work generating my video, which only took a few minutes. Once my video was complete, I could schedule to post it or download it.

Here’s how my video came out:

While the AI voice sounded real enough, you could tell it was generated with AI. The images were also pretty obviously AI-generated, but they were accurate to the script.
