Michael Bordash is the Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Syniverse, a global leader in operator mobility solutions (5G signaling, roaming, clearing & settlement) and enterprise-class CPaaS messaging solutions (SMS/MMS, RCS, Whatsapp, Push). With more than 25 years of start-up and large scale experience in the software industry, Michael is passionate about advancing the state of the art in the field of messaging and communication with data science. He has also co-authored a technical handbook, published multiple articles, and obtained 13 patents in the areas of Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI/Machine Reasoning. Additionally, Michael serves as an advisory board member for cybersecurity at Fairfield University, where he shares his insights and expertise on AI/ML approaches to detect and prevent fraud and spam over messaging channels.
