Assaf Natanzon is the VP and Chief Architect of Eon, driving innovation in storage, data management, and cyber-resilient architectures. He previously served as Technical VP and Chief Architect at Huawei Storage, where he created OceanProtect, a multibillion-dollar secondary storage platform, and as CTO of Dell/EMC’s Data Protection division, overseeing a $3.5B product portfolio. A pioneer in replication, de-duplication, compression, and RAID technologies, Assaf holds more than 550 U.S. patents (with over 250 pending) making him one of the most prolific inventors in enterprise storage. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University, specializing in disaster recovery.
