Google Brings Adobe, Airtable and Peloton Connected Apps to Gemini

Google began rolling out a new wave of third-party Connected Apps for the Gemini app on September 23, 2026, according to an announcement on The Keyword, with integrations spanning productivity, creativity and lifestyle services.

Mai Lowe, Group Product Manager for the Gemini app, wrote that the additions bring more of users’ apps directly into Gemini, presenting the update as a way to handle work, creative and personal tasks in one place rather than switching between tabs.

The productivity additions are Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and Zoho. Google says users can manage projects, organize databases, dictate notes and more through those connections.

For creativity tasks, Gemini adds connections to Adobe, Picsart, Squarespace and Webflow, which the post describes as tools for bringing ideas to life, designing visual assets and building websites.

The lifestyle additions are apartments.com, Experian, Peloton and SeatGeek. Google describes using them to search for an apartment, monitor credit, plan workouts and find event tickets.

How Connected Apps Work in Gemini

Google’s Connected Apps help documentation states that Gemini Apps can connect to other apps to complete requests and, with the user’s permission, take actions such as editing and managing content in those apps.

Users must be signed in to the Gemini app to use Connected Apps. When the Keep Activity setting is turned off, Connected Apps are unavailable on gemini.google.com, iOS devices and smart watches; on Android devices, only the Device assistance, Phone, Messages and WhatsApp apps remain available while the setting is off.

Users can connect or disconnect apps at any time in their Connected Apps settings. Entering @ in a chat and selecting an app will either connect it or prompt Gemini to ask for permission, the documentation states.

The apps listed in Connected Apps settings vary by the Gemini app in use, the device, the country and the account type, and Google notes that availability varies more broadly by location, language, device and Gemini app. Apps available only in the Gemini mobile app on Android do not appear on iOS devices or in the Gemini web app. The documentation also states that Gemini currently cannot use Connected Apps in Gemini in Google Messages, that some Connected Apps are available in Gemini Live chats, and that users on work or school accounts are directed to separate instructions.

Automatic Google Services and Custom App Connections

Gemini automatically uses public information from Google Search, Google Flights, Google Hotels, Google Maps and YouTube, and it will not access personal information or content in those services without the user’s permission, according to the documentation. Using public information from Flights, Hotels, Maps and YouTube requires Keep Activity to be on, while public information from Search remains available even when the setting is off or the user is signed out.

Users can also connect personal or third-party apps by linking a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which adds a custom app in Connected Apps settings that can then be used in chats for quick actions or task threads.

Examples Google lists for Connected Apps include summarizing emails from Gmail, creating events in Google Calendar or third-party apps, playing music from YouTube Music or Spotify, shopping for groceries, booking reservations, making calls or sending messages with default apps or WhatsApp on Android, and managing smart home devices in Google Home.

Earlier Expansion at Google I/O 2026

The additions follow an expansion Google described in a May 19, 2026 post timed to Google I/O, when the company introduced the Gemini Spark agent and said it was expanding its list of connected apps with new MCP connections to Canva, OpenTable and Instacart launching that day, with more partners integrating. Google said at the time that Spark would be able to use those MCP connections in the coming weeks.

In the same post, Google stated that more than 900 million people across 230 countries and more than 70 languages turn to Gemini for help every month; the post also said Gemini had been serving 400 million users at the previous year’s Google I/O.

Google said users can get started with the new apps by connecting them in Gemini settings or by bringing them into a chat through an @ mention or a direct request.
