Sensera Systems Closes $27M Series B to Expand AI-Powered Jobsite Intelligence

mm

Sensera Systems has closed a $27 million Series B funding round aimed at accelerating growth and further developing its AI-driven jobsite intelligence platform built specifically for the construction industry.

The round was led by 10 Atlantic Group, with additional participation from Egis Capital Partners and MUUS Asset Management.

The Denver-based company provides integrated hardware, software, and services designed to help construction teams monitor, manage, and document projects in real time. Its platform combines self-contained, solar-powered cameras with AI-enabled software that transforms onsite video into structured insights delivered directly to mobile devices.

Turning Video Into Actionable Intelligence

At the center of Sensera’s platform is its SiteCloud software, which applies artificial intelligence to analyze visual data captured on jobsites. Rather than serving as passive surveillance, the system is designed to surface relevant information that project managers, superintendents, and field teams can use immediately.

Construction environments are often distributed, dynamic, and difficult to monitor consistently. Remote visibility can reduce site visits, improve coordination, and provide documentation that supports scheduling, compliance, and safety management. By converting video streams into real-time intelligence, Sensera aims to help teams make faster decisions without waiting for manual reporting cycles.

The company’s hardware is built for rugged conditions, operating wirelessly and independently of traditional infrastructure. That design allows deployment across a wide range of projects, from commercial builds to infrastructure development.

A Growing Segment Within Construction Technology

Construction has historically lagged other industries in digital transformation, but adoption of connected devices and AI-powered platforms has accelerated in recent years. Increasing project complexity, tighter margins, and labor constraints have pushed contractors and developers to seek more reliable data from the field.

Video-based monitoring systems have evolved from basic security tools into operational platforms capable of tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting collaboration between stakeholders. When combined with AI, visual data can be categorized, filtered, and contextualized — reducing the burden on teams that would otherwise need to manually review hours of footage.

Beyond simple motion detection, modern systems increasingly use computer vision models trained to recognize equipment, materials, safety gear, and workflow patterns. They can flag anomalies, detect stalled progress, generate time-lapse documentation, and integrate with project management or scheduling software. As edge computing improves, more analysis can occur directly on-device, lowering bandwidth demands and enabling faster, near real-time alerts across distributed jobsites.

Broader Implications for the Industry

The expansion of AI-powered jobsite intelligence reflects a larger shift in how construction projects are managed. As more workflows become data-driven, real-time visibility may become a baseline expectation rather than a competitive advantage.

Systems that translate physical site activity into structured digital insight can reshape how projects are documented, audited, and coordinated. Over time, this type of technology could influence everything from risk management and insurance assessments to capital planning and regulatory compliance.

As construction firms increasingly operate across multiple sites and regions, centralized intelligence platforms may serve as connective infrastructure — linking field activity to executive oversight in ways that were previously difficult to achieve at scale.

With new capital in place, Sensera Systems enters its next phase positioned within a rapidly evolving segment of construction technology where AI is moving from experimental add-on to operational backbone.
