NVIDIA Celebrates RTX Spark Launch Across Six Global Cities

NVIDIA celebrated the arrival of its RTX Spark laptops with retail launch events in six cities on October 16, 2026, including a Berlin gathering where founder and CEO Jensen Huang made a surprise appearance and gave away five personally signed laptops, the company said in a recap published October 17, 2026.
Berlin Celebration at the Festival of Lights
The Berlin event coincided with the Festival of Lights, an annual autumn art festival that transforms the German capital’s landmarks, streets and squares into illuminated canvases. This year’s festival featured RTX Spark-themed lighting on the Berlin TV Tower.
Fans gathered hours ahead of the celebration at XPERION, the gaming venue inside the Saturn store at Alexanderplatz, where attendees went hands-on with RTX Spark laptops from PC makers, exploring gaming experiences, content-creation workflows and local AI capabilities. NVIDIA’s recap noted that even a cosplayer dressed as Geralt waited in line for hands-on time.
Huang greeted the crowd, handed out popcorn and posed for selfies, and gave out five personally signed RTX Spark laptops. According to NVIDIA’s official event invitation, the Berlin celebration ran from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Alexanderplatz 3 with hands-on demos and stage programming featuring creators and developers, and registration was required.
Launch Events in San Francisco, Beijing, Istanbul, Seoul and Taipei
In San Francisco, attendees visited the Best Buy store at 1717 Harrison Street for a morning of hands-on RTX Spark demos, fireside conversations with local tech founders and an appearance by tech influencer iJustine. The event ran from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with free, first-come, first-served entry and no ticket required.
In Beijing, check-in began at 7 p.m. at the JD MALL Beijing Shuangjing Store at No. 31 Guangqu Road, with the celebration running from 8 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and registration handled through WeChat. NVIDIA described a massive crowd gathered for the event.
Istanbul’s celebration at Vatan Bilgisayar Topkapı, Mevlana Caddesi No. 138, offered walk-in entry with no advance registration, combining interactive demonstrations with specialized programming led by local creators. NVIDIA said attendees witnessed local celebrities speak at the event.
In Seoul, the COEX East Lobby at 513 Yeongdong-daero opened hands-on demos at 7 p.m., followed by gaming and AI creator programming from 8 p.m. until the event concluded at 9:30 p.m., with no advance registration required. NVIDIA described the venue as a bustling hub hosting an eager crowd for the evening sessions.
Taipei’s event at Muse Garden, No. 88 Yanchang Road, required registration and paired demos with music and AI community discussions, with shopping and networking continuing until 10:15 p.m. NVIDIA described the energy at the venue as electric as the local AI community came together.
RTX Spark Availability and Pricing
The celebrations accompanied the October 16, 2026 announcement that made RTX Spark laptops available globally from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI through their websites and major retailers, with additional systems to follow. The launch lineup includes the ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra and OmniBook X 14, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ and Prestige N16.
The RTX Spark superchip combines an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU and an NVIDIA Grace CPU with up to 128GB of unified memory, and NVIDIA says the chip delivers up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance.
On pricing, the two NVIDIA records differ. The October 16 availability release listed the laptops as starting at $2,599 and noted that pricing and configurations vary by region, while NVIDIA’s recap of the celebrations states that the laptops start at $2,399.
Share Your Spark Campaign
Alongside the retail events, NVIDIA is running an online campaign inviting people to share what their first Windows PC sparked a love for, using the hashtag #ShareYourSpark, for a chance to win an ASUS ProArt P14 RTX Spark laptop signed by Jensen Huang. The invitation post points participants to the campaign and its official rules on NVIDIA’s website.
NVIDIA also directed developers and AI enthusiasts to its NVIDIA-tested recipes, playbooks and resources for running local AI on RTX Spark systems.
