He is responsible for aligning cities, capital, and technology partners to scale Surge’s shared infrastructure model across diverse markets. Miguel brings over 20 years of experience across infrastructure development, transportation systems, and public-private partnerships, with a career focused on deploying complex, real-world solutions at the intersection of the public and private sectors.
At Surge, Miguel has led the company’s early deployments, established key strategic partnerships, and developed the operational model that enables scalable rollout of intelligent infrastructure systems. He has played a central role in shaping Surge’s Public Benefit Corporation structure, ensuring alignment between long-term economic value creation and measurable public impact.
Earlier in his career, Miguel served as Vice President of Business Development at Integrated Roadways, where he led municipal partnerships, strategic stakeholders, and GTM strategies for the company’s deep-tech smart pavement system for connected, electric, and autonomous vehicles. Prior to that, he built a successful seven-figure commercial real-estate business as a Senior Brokerage Associate. He’s held leadership roles across infrastructure and transportation initiatives, working with public agencies, private partners, and investors to advance large-scale projects. His experience spans intelligent infrastructure, mobility systems, urban deployment, and product development, with a consistent focus on bridging innovation with real-world implementation.
