Mateo Rojas-Carulla, Head of Research, AI Agent Security, Check Point Software

Mateo Rojas-Carulla is Head of Research, AI Agent Security at Check Point Software Technologies. Previously he was Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Lakera, which was acquired by Check Point in 2025. Prior to founding Lakera, Mateo worked at Google, Credit Suisse, Facebook and Speechmatics. He received a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge and the Max Planck Institute in Tübingen.
