Ivan Shkvarun is the CEO and Co-Founder of Social Links and the author of the Darkside AI initiative.
With more than 15 years of experience in automation across multiple industries and leadership roles in international IT companies, he brings deep expertise in technology, strategy, and innovation. He previously led financial and public sector initiatives at SAP, where he focused on enterprise-scale solutions. His academic background is in mathematics, complemented by an MBA in entrepreneurship.
His passion for Open Data began over 20 years ago and has shaped his career ever since. In 2015, he co-founded Social Links with his partners as a side project, which evolved into a rapidly growing company by 2018. By 2023 and 2025, Social Links was recognized by Frost & Sullivan as a global leader in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), now serving more than 500 clients across 80+ countries.
