Ian Dicker is a Chief Technology Officer and senior technology leader whose career spans more than 35 years at the intersection of software architecture, enterprise systems, security, and AI-driven innovation. He partners with CEOs, boards, and executive teams as a trusted advisor, translating complex technology decisions into clear strategy — shaping technology vision, strengthening governance, and managing risk so leaders can make confident, board-level decisions. His hallmark is alignment: connecting IT initiatives directly to business goals. Today, that work centers on Agentic Development — helping enterprises adopt AI responsibly and at scale to reinvent their engineering operating models, accelerate delivery, and build systems that are secure by design.
Ian also serves as a trusted advisor to Microsoft, contributing as a Partner Advisory Council member and as an architect for the Microsoft Innovation Hub, where he leads and supports customer engagements at the leading edge of enterprise technology.
His track record reflects decades of technology leadership and real business impact. Ian was part of the team behind AOL's first web browsers, helping shape the early consumer internet. He later served as CTO and Chief Architect of Intranets.com, an early SaaS pioneer, guiding the technology organization through rapid growth to a successful acquisition by WebEx. In recent years, he has concentrated on Microsoft cloud and enterprise AI solutions, advising global organizations on secure cloud adoption, application modernization, and the next generation of intelligent, AI-powered enterprise platforms.
Whether counseling a board on technology risk or architecting an agentic engineering model, Ian brings the same conviction: that well-governed, responsibly adopted technology is one of the most powerful levers a business has.
