Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all the scattered AI tools your team is juggling? Research shows that roughly two-thirds of organizations are struggling to scale AI across their business.
That’s why I wanted to try Airia. It promised to take the chaos out of AI by letting me build, manage, and secure AI agents in one place. It didn’t just deliver on that promise; it made the whole process surprisingly quick and easy.
In this Airia review, I’ll discuss the pros and cons, what it is, who it’s best for, and its key features. Then, I’ll show you how I used Airia to generate an AI agent for research and summarization.
I’ll finish the article by comparing Airia with my top three alternatives (N8N, Relevance AI, and MindStudio). By the end, you’ll know if Airia is right for you!
Verdict
Overall, Airia makes building and managing AI agents easy with templates, drag-and-drop tools, and compliance features. However, it’s best for larger teams as smaller projects may be too complex or expensive.
Pros and Cons
- Build, manage, and secure AI agents in one place
- Drag-and-drop tools and templates speed up development
- Built-in controls and compliance for regulated teams
- Switch between AI models and connect to tools like Slack and CRMs
- Track AI agent performance
- Steeper learning curve for small teams or simple projects
- It may be too expensive or complex for small teams
- Overkill for basic chatbots or quick prototypes
What is Airia?
Airia is a platform that lets you build and run secure AI agents on a single platform. It tackles two problems simultaneously: Companies dealing with AI tools scattered everywhere, and security concerns. Airia solves both issues in one unified solution.
They focus on what they call “agentic security” alongside orchestration capabilities. What that means is they don’t just help you deploy and manage AI agents; they actively protect them while they’re running.
Airia vs. Traditional Tools
Traditional AI deployment tools typically focus on one thing: getting your models into production. Airia does that, but also handles security, maintenance, and coordination.
Most tools make you piece together different solutions for monitoring, security, governance, and orchestration. With Airia, that orchestration and security framework is built into the same platform from day one.
Airia’s Mission
Airia’s mission is to transform AI anxiety into a competitive advantage. People worry about data leaks, hallucinations, and compliance violations.
However, Airia’s platform addresses that fear head-on by providing the visibility that leadership teams need to feel confident deploying AI. It becomes a controlled tool that delivers real business value and acts as a central hub that connects and manages your AI in one place.
Who is Airia Best For?
Here’s who Airia is best for:
- Enterprises can use Airia to deploy scalable AI agents across the organization.
- AI/ML engineers can use Airia to build, deploy, and monitor agents.
- Business analysts can use Airia to prototype AI workflows without code.
- Regulated industries (e.g., Healthcare, Finance, and Legal industries) can use Airia to use AI while keeping data private.
- Cross-functional teams can use Airia to integrate AI into tools like Slack, CRMs, and SharePoint.

How to Use Airia
Here’s how I used Airia AI to generate an AI agent for research and summarization:
- Create a Free Account
- Start a New Project
- Name the Project
- Add a New Agent
- Select the AI Builder
- Build an AI Agent
- Choose the Agent Type
- Confirm the Plan
- Generate the Agent
- Test & Publish
Step 1: Create a Free Account

I started by going to airia.com and selecting “Start Free” on the top right.

After creating a free account, I was taken to the Welcome page. Everything might feel a bit overwhelming at first, so I recommend exploring the introduction video and overview.
Step 2: Start a New Project

To get started creating a new AI Agent from scratch with Airia, I hit the “+” next to “Projects” on the left.
Step 3: Name the Project

I gave it a project name and hit “Create.”
Step 4: Add a New Agent

From there, I selected my Meeting Summarizer from my Projects and selected “Add a New Agent.” These agents can be made from scratch, imported from JSON files or URLs, or imported from external agents.
Step 5: Select the AI Builder

Next, I was taken to my canvas. Every new project comes with two nodes: Input and Output.
Rather than building my AI Agent manually or with a template, I wanted to get AI to do it for me. I selected the “AI Builder” on the left.
Step 6: Build an AI Agent

A chatbot opened, presenting me with the following options:
- Optimize my agent
- Help me build my first agent
- Suggest better prompts
- Make a plan
- Help me debug the agent
Alternatively, I could ask anything. I selected “Help me build my first agent.”
Step 7: Choose the Agent Type

The chat with AI began immediately. I was presented with different types of agents I could create:
- Simple AI Assistant: Add an AI model with a conversational prompt.
- Research Agent: AI model with web search capabilities.
- Data Processing Agent: AI model with Python code execution.
- Multi-Model Comparison: Compare responses from multiple AI models.
- Approval Workflow Agent: Include human approval steps.
- Custom Agent: Tell me what you need, and I’ll build it!
I told the AI what I wanted to create: “Build an agent that can search the web and summarize findings.”
Step 8: Confirm the Plan

From there, the chatbot laid out a plan and asked for my confirmation:
“Plan:
- Add an AI model (I’ll use a capable model for web research and summarization)
- Create a specialized prompt for web research and summarization
- Add a web search tool to the AI model
- Link everything properly: Input → AI Model (with web search) → Output.”
I confirmed, and Airia immediately got to work.
Step 9: Generate the Agent

Immediately, Airia began laying out its process and adding the necessary nodes onto the canvas.
The entire process only took a few minutes. Between the “Input” and “Output” nodes, it added a GPT 4.1 AI Model (perfect for research and summarization).
Step 10: Test & Publish

Once complete, the chatbot asked how I wanted to proceed:
- Test the agent now?
- Add additional features (like memory, Python processing, or human approval)?
- Make any adjustments to the prompt or model?
I was interested in trying out the AI Agent, so I responded with “Test the agent now.”
Overall, building my first Airia agent felt fast and smooth. The AI Builder handled most of the heavy lifting, and I went from idea to a working research agent in just a few minutes.
