Glean Brings Enterprise Context to Fireworks AI’s Frontier Ecosystem

Glean announced on November 3, 2026 that it is a launch partner in Fireworks AI’s Frontier Ecosystem, pairing Fireworks’ model-serving infrastructure with Glean’s enterprise context for supported open models in company workflows.
Fireworks introduced the ecosystem at Forge the same day, with partners helping organizations build, evaluate, train and deploy specialized AI. The Glean partnership addresses the next step in that process: putting supported models to work with company knowledge and existing controls.
Model Serving Meets Enterprise Context
Fireworks provides the infrastructure to serve and tune open models in production, with options for how workloads are deployed. Glean connects company knowledge, people, decisions and workflows across systems. Under the partnership, Fireworks handles the model-serving side, while Glean supplies company knowledge and applies existing permissions to the resulting experiences.
On its Frontier Ecosystem partner page, Fireworks presents the program as a hub for companies across the AI stack, intended to take specialized intelligence systems from development into production. Glean is included in the directory.
Glean Assistant lets employees use the supported models to answer questions and assemble information from connected company sources. Glean Agents add configured instructions and tools to that context so they can complete multistep tasks across applications. Both operate within one governed experience.
Routing and Governance Stay Centralized
Glean’s auto-routing feature selects among frontier and open-source models for each task. Whichever model an organization chooses, its company knowledge remains independent of any single provider. That separation allows model selections to be revisited without making the enterprise context layer dependent on the same decision.
The rationale is that teams and tasks vary in their requirements for speed, quality, capacity and cost. Glean says open models are becoming more competitive with frontier models, expanding the available options, and organizations can change their selections as requirements and models evolve.
Customers choosing to use Fireworks with Glean can add eligible open models to Assistant and Agent workflows as new options emerge without rebuilding their broader AI experience. Those workflows can draw on relevant company knowledge while preserving existing source permissions. Administrators centrally determine which models, model categories and capabilities are available, and can limit access where appropriate.
A Workload-by-Workload Adoption Path
Customers can evaluate models against their own requirements for quality, latency, capacity and cost to determine which options fit different tasks. Glean recommends beginning with a specific workload and testing an eligible model against real tasks and governance requirements before a broader rollout.
The partnership’s practical value therefore rests on a clear separation: Fireworks supplies the serving and tuning layer, Glean supplies enterprise context and governance, and customers assess model fit workload by workload. The central test is whether an eligible open model can meet real business requirements inside the permissions and administrative controls already governing the AI experience.
