Realtor.com Adds RealAssist AI Agent Layer to Realtor.com+ Workspace

Realtor.com on October 6, 2026 announced the launch of RealAssist AI in Realtor.com+, an AI-powered layer for real estate professionals inside the company’s collaborative home search platform, which the company said now serves more than 192,000 agents nationwide.
Realtor.com described RealAssist AI as a layer meant to help busy agents work faster, stay ahead of client activity, and act with more confidence instead of losing time to manual busywork. Anna Marie Castiglioni, Head of Realtor.com Next, said Realtor.com+ is evolving into a more intelligent agent workspace that helps professionals reduce manual work, respond faster to their clients, and stay in closer sync with buyer activity, with RealAssist AI at the center of that shift. It “transforms the platform from a collaboration center into an agent’s proactive partner,” Castiglioni said, and it keeps working in the background, surfacing insights, drafting high-intent communications, and flagging ready-now opportunities before an agent even logs in.
Three Core Capabilities at Launch
The company said RealAssist AI launches with three core capabilities. AI-Driven Client and Search Setup walks agents through onboarding clients and co-buyers by capturing their preferences and notes, then automatically builds more tailored home searches for them. Daily Digest condenses activity from a client’s chats, searches, notifications, and price changes into a single summary that includes suggested next steps, so agents can quickly see what matters most. Agentic Actions recommends next steps and helps carry them out, for example by refining home searches using professional-level MLS data fields or drafting client messages in the agent’s own tone, while agents review and approve every action.
Realtor.com’s Fall Release 2026 product page describes the same mechanics in product terms: one guided onboarding flow adds a client and co-buyer and produces a tailored search built on professional-level MLS data fields. A single digest surfaces priority notifications, messages, and search changes across all of an agent’s clients, and drafted follow-ups and tightened searches wait for the agent’s approval before anything happens. The page presents the workspace as a shared space for agents and their clients where the AI monitors activity signals and follow-ups and surfaces the agent’s next move unprompted.
RPR Integration and Companion Fall Updates
The launch arrives alongside a broader wave of fall updates to the platform. A new integration embeds Realtors Property Resource, which the company described as one of the National Association of Realtors’ highest-value member-only assets, directly inside Realtor.com+. The integration gives Realtors access to property insights, reports, and market intelligence in the same workspace where they collaborate with clients. Jeff Young, CEO of Realtors Property Resource, said market questions come up constantly in conversations between agents and their clients. Bringing RPR Market Trends into the platform, Young said, gives Realtors access to trusted local market data inside that collaboration experience, helping them add context to those conversations and guide clients with greater confidence.
A new public invite link lets agents bring entire groups of buyers into their co-branded collaboration experience through one custom URL or QR code, a change the company said helps agents grow their client base by removing the friction of one-by-one manual invitations. Listing notes give agents and their connected clients a persistent place to record context and thoughts about specific listings.
Platform Footprint and MLS Expansion
Realtor.com+ debuted in January 2026 as what the company calls the first collaborative home search experience built with MLSs, and the company reported up to 10% agent adoption in live markets since that debut. According to the company, RealAssist AI is designed to deepen that engagement by taking on the repetitive parts of an agent’s day so agents can spend less time on manual tasks and more time serving clients. The platform is now live in 21 markets, serving more than 192,000 agents nationwide — a footprint the company said represents more than 10% of the U.S. agent market — and spanning nearly 252,000 listings.
Among the newest MLSs to launch the platform is Austin, Texas-based Unlock MLS. Emily Girard, CEO of Unlock MLS, said Realtor.com offers top-of-funnel search behavior while Unlock MLS offers rich, verified transaction data, and that putting the two together in a way that keeps the agent at the center produces something neither side can build alone. She described the arrangement as “a third path” away from the longstanding assumption that MLSs had to either build every piece of technology themselves or hand over their data.
Realtor.com is operated by Move, Inc., a subsidiary of News Corp. The company said four more markets are launching soon.
