Meta introduced Meta One on September 15, 2026, a subscription service that adds paid tiers across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI, with plans for individuals, creators, and businesses. Meta said the service launches with more than 50 features and 15 million subscriptions and trials to date.

The company said the core experience across its apps and Meta AI will stay free, with subscriptions unlocking more specialized capabilities and expanded AI usage beyond the free tier. Plans are rolling out gradually, and Meta said it will expand Meta One to Edits, its AI glasses, and more over time.

Plans for Individuals and AI Power Users

Earlier this year, Meta launched Meta One single-product plans: Instagram Plus at $3.99 per month, WhatsApp Plus at $2.99 per month, and Facebook Plus at $3.99 per month. The company said the plans are seeing strong retention and that it is continuing to grow them.

Instagram Plus recently added custom direct-message and Story fonts, notifications when certain people view a user’s Story, and message previews. Facebook Plus is adding customization options for Messenger, more Reels insights, and expanded super reactions across Reels and Feed posts. WhatsApp Plus will soon test storage for chat and media backups along with Focus Schedules, a feature that mutes or hides chats on a schedule.

Two bundle plans, Core at $7.99 per month and Premium at $19.99 per month, combine the single-product features with more usage of what Meta describes as some of its most compute-intensive AI capabilities. That includes more media generation with Meta AI — creating and editing images and generating videos powered by the company’s Muse models — and more use of in-app AI tools such as Restyle on Instagram. Premium includes everything in Core, with Meta describing it as offering the most room to create content with Meta AI and across its family of apps.

Meta said Meta AI will remain free for everyday use, positioning Core and Premium for people who want more creative freedom from its AI tools. In early testing, more than half of subscribers engaged with both AI and expression features in the bundled plans, the company said, with AI features such as Restyle and voice effects on Instagram among the top reasons people subscribed.

Plans for Creators and Businesses

The creator and business tiers put professional tools and AI directly inside the existing apps, without requiring a new account or a separate download. New presence features include an enhanced profile that showcases a website, locations, and what people say about the account; a bold follow button on reels; and follow invitations sent automatically to people who engage with the account’s content. The plans also include more access to Meta Business Agent.

Essential starts at $14.99 per month and includes tools to manage presence, more access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp to respond to customers 24/7, a verified badge, a verified channel on the WhatsApp Business app, and impersonation protection, pending successful verification.

Advanced starts at $49.99 per month and adds publishing features such as scheduling stories up to 30 days in advance and links in organic posts and reels, plus exportable analytics and deeper audience insights. The tier lets team members access an account without sharing a password and includes more linked devices, business broadcast credits on WhatsApp, and additional Meta Business Agent responses.

Expert starts at $149 per month and Max starts at $499 per month. Meta describes these as its highest levels of feature access and Meta Business Agent capacity, aimed at teams managing at scale.

Edits Plus and Availability

Meta said it will soon bring Edits Plus to Meta One, a new product plan offering more cloud storage so subscribers can sync and access projects across devices, plus additional usage of the upcoming Edits assistant, which Meta said helps analyze Instagram insights and brainstorm new ideas. The company said it will also keep adding features and agent skills built to help small businesses and creators with end-to-end marketing, business operations, content creation, and optimization.

Meta One plans are now available globally, starting at $2.99 per month for single products, $7.99 per month for individual bundles, and $14.99 per month for creator and business bundles. Meta said plans, benefits, pricing, and availability may vary by region, app, and account, and directed users to the Meta One website to see the features available to their accounts.
