Salesforce Unveils AIforce Live Interface Layer at Dreamforce

Salesforce unveiled AIforce at Dreamforce on September 15, 2026, a live interface layer that brings the data, workflows, business logic, semantics, permissions, security, and governance held inside Salesforce to any AI interface. The layer launches with Claudeforce, Slackforce, and Agentforce Coworker.
What AIforce Does
Salesforce said AIforce removes the need to open its own application to reach the business knowledge stored inside it. A worker who has never opened a dashboard can ask questions, update records, and trigger workflows grounded in Salesforce data and business logic, the company said, while agents can read across hundreds of records at once, pull in connected systems, and act with a full view of the business. Users can also compose customized live interfaces on the fly by describing them, inside platforms such as Slack, Claude, and Coworker, rather than navigating fixed layouts and fields.
“AI is creating an interface revolution,” said Marc Benioff, Salesforce’s chair and CEO. “We are combining model intelligence with all the context that customers have built into Salesforce to create an intelligent, dynamic, composable system that is securely governed, built with Zero Data Retention, and designed to work with the core systems that already run your business.”
AIforce becomes the newest layer in what Salesforce calls its Agentic Enterprise architecture. Data 360 supplies unified context from harmonized and federated data, metadata, and memory; Customer 360 provides the application and semantic intelligence agents use to work across sales, service, marketing, and commerce; and Agentforce supplies a digital workforce of ready-to-deploy agents along with a builder for custom ones.
Salesforce said every AIforce request runs on the customer’s existing permissions and business rules, so an agent sees only what the person asking can see and every action routes back through Salesforce. Under the Zero Data Retention design, business data is used to answer the question at hand and is not retained by the model provider, according to the company. Admins connect once, with no new permissions model, no migration, and no custom integration work, and teams that want to build further can work with MCPs, APIs, plug-ins, and skills.
Trailblazer Community at 20 Years
The rollout coincides with the 20th anniversary of Salesforce’s Trailblazer community of admins, developers, architects, builders, and technology leaders, celebrated at Dreamforce. Salesforce said the community has built 12 million apps, drives 9.6 billion API calls every day, has produced 156 million lines of AI-generated code, and has earned more than 151 million badges on Trailhead.
Claudeforce and Slackforce
Claudeforce extends Salesforce’s partnership with Anthropic. Its launch component, Salesforce in Claude, packs Salesforce intelligence into a prebuilt MCP server directly inside Claude, which Salesforce said removes the manual setup, complex authentication, and custom skill-mapping such integrations usually require. It ships with 37 prebuilt sales skills spanning prospecting through pipeline hygiene, with Tableau analytics and skills for service, marketing, commerce, and industries planned for the near future. For developers, the Salesforce Development plug-in for Claude Code brings more than 40 skills, access to Salesforce’s skills library on GitHub, and specialized sub-plug-ins that load dynamically and can take on development tasks. Salesforce in Claude was piloted by companies including Deloitte, GitLab, and Legora and is available to all customers in beta.
Slackforce brings Salesforce context and intelligence into Slack conversations, workflows, and experiences. Slackforce Surfaces pulls live context and data from Salesforce, Slack, and other tools into an interactive interface that a team can filter, explore, comment on, and act on together in real time. Slackbot, an out-of-the-box personal assistant, can reason across the conversational context in Slack and the context, semantic intelligence, and governed action in Salesforce; Salesforce said it can flag accounts going quiet, read the support cases and Slack threads behind them, reassign an owner, create a follow-up task, and draft a win-back email without leaving Slack. Slack CRM links Slack conversations, users, and updates to Salesforce, letting users create accounts, log call notes, and update records with a prompt. Slack Code gives a team a shared place to work with an agent on a coding session, producing working code, prototypes, and documents inside Slack.
“We handle over 800,000 customer inquiries a year, so getting our people the right context fast is everything,” said Elia Wallen, founder and CEO of Engine. He said Slackforce lets anyone on his team describe what they need and get a working interface back, built from data the company already has, without leaving the conversation.
Agentforce Coworker and the Headless Toolkit
Agentforce Coworker is an AI teammate inside Salesforce’s Lightning interface that reasons across accounts, activity, and history. Because it runs inside Salesforce, it operates within existing permissions and business rules, nothing is retained outside the customer’s trust boundary, and it calls the specialized Agentforce agents a customer has already deployed. Salesforce said Coworker activates with the push of a button, with no migration and no new permissions model, and that 100,000 users activated it within its first 35 days.
Brandon Bernard, senior vice president and sales technology strategist at Fulton Bank, said the bank went from zero to more than 20 use cases live in production within weeks, supporting approximately 3,000 users. Bernard said the bank is already seeing substantial daily usage, with Coworker helping teammates find information faster, prepare more effectively, and move work forward.
AIforce is powered by the Headless Toolkit, the open architecture that exposes Salesforce platform elements through MCPs, APIs, plug-ins, skills, and developer tools. The AgentExchange ecosystem, a partner network using the toolkit to build interfaces, agents, apps, integrations, workflows, and actions with a marketplace to discover, buy, and deploy them, includes agentic interfaces from Anthropic, Amazon Web Services, and Google; AI builders Lovable and Vercel; and agents and tools from Docusign, Gamma, Jasper, Ramp, and Rippling. Salesforce said additional AIforce surfaces will be announced soon.
