William Tunstall-Pedoe is the CEO and founder of UnlikelyAI, a serial entrepreneur and angel investor building a "neurosymbolic" approach to artificial intelligence, which combines deep learning with symbolic reasoning to address the bias, hallucinations and lack of accuracy and explainability that limit traditional AI models in high-stakes environments. He previously founded voice assistant startup Evi, which was acquired by Amazon, where he and the team went on to build and launch Alexa. He secured $20 million in seed funding in 2023 to advance UnlikelyAI's platform for businesses in highly-regulated industries such as financial services, insurance and accountancy.
